John D. Meade (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Professor of Old Testament at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and author of several books, articles, and chapters. His new book, The Forerunners and Heirs of Origen's Hexapla (V&R, 2024), is an edited volume containing essays on various aspects of the history and reception of Origen's parallel Bible and what it tells about early Christian textual criticism and exegesis of the Bible. For fun, he enjoys a good hike in a National Park.
