ABOUT ME: Kerry White was born in Toowoomba, Australia, just as World War Two was ending and spent his childhood at a nearby country town, Mount Tyson.
After finishing school he worked in a bank for several years before being called up for national service and serving in the Vietnam War as an infantry soldier.
His subsequent career roles included newspaper journalist, government media, ministerial media adviser, and public and community relations roles with non-government organisations.
Semi-retired on Australia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast, Kerry has self-published four books: three anthologies – 'the poet from hell'; 'Strength, labour and sorrow'; 'Behold the stars' – as well as 'Three of a kind', covering aspects of military aviation history.
He is now aiming to complete a memoir he has been working on for some years, then ‘maybe a novel or two’. In the meantime, he graduated with a creative writing masters last year. Feel free to contact me please contact me via Facebook Messenger or by email on thepoetfromhell@gmail.com
