Sandra Pfau Englund, Esq. (“Sandy”) has represented nonprofit organizations for over twenty years. She is a sought-after speaker and subject matter expert and has been quoted by Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and the Today Show. Her first book, School Fundraising: So Much More than Cookie Dough was published in 2016. In December 2016, her documentary, The Embezzler Next Door was released, shining a light on the problem of embezzlement from volunteer-led school fundraising groups. Sandy’s second book, Rescue Me: Your Step-by-Step Guide to Starting an Animal Rescue, focuses on the increasing need for specialized animal welfare organizations and provides the guidance you need to stop chasing your tail and get your rescue group off the ground before any more dog-years go by.
