Danielle Carlson

Danielle Carlson (PAEMST Wisconsin State Finalist, 2017) is a high school science teacher at a small, rural school in Southwest Wisconsin. Prior to writing her book, Danielle presented the same information at various conferences and workshops. The positive feedback encouraged her to make the information more widespread and available, leading her to write and publish "Teaching Hacks!"

In addition to being a teacher and an author, Danielle also sells many curriculum materials on Teachers Pay Teachers. She is also a writer for an interactive learning website, having written practice questions in the areas of ACT, NGSS, and AP Biology. Danielle lives with her husband and corgidor (black lab/corgi mix) on a "farmette" in Wisconsin. Besides teaching and writing, she enjoys biking, gardening, napping, eating, yoga, and learning new things.
