Jackson Fahnestock is a retired architect who lived and worked in Hong Kong, Taipei, and Hanoi, giving him the impetus for this book. Shu Wei’s Revenge was a semi-finalist in the 2015 William Faulkner—William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition (Novel-in-Progress). The published book was recently featured on the cover of Publishers Weekly (August 28th issue). While working for the Mayor's Office of Lower Manhattan Development in New York he published a book, To Preserve a Heritage—a book on landmarks in Lower Manhattan. He considers this first novel to be a second career unto itself and is now catching his breath while he plans a sequel.
