Robert E. Jackson Jr. M.D.

Robert E. Jackson, Jr. grew up in small town Manning, South Carolina. After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina he moved to Spartanburg, SC. He has worked on a pig farm, as an ER doctor, a youth pastor, and a hotel toilet cleaner, but he started out helping his medical doctor Dad perform surgeries and ultimately, Robert Jr also settled into his own family practice. He is the author of "The Family Doctor Speaks: The Truth About Life" and will soon publish another book on evangelism. During his time as a physician and because of his involvement with social/political issues, he has received a myriad of awards from his home state of South Carolina and from various organizations, but his most notable achievement happened in October of 1981 when he married Carlotta.
