Rachel Farmer trained as a newspaper journalist after studying at Goldsmiths University in London. After several years working in local and regional press, she spent 16 years heading up PR for the Church of England in Nottinghamshire. During this time she launched an award winning magazine and worked for five different bishops. In 2013 she moved to Cyprus for two years with her husband and began freelance writing and editing. Now back in the UK she manages communications for an international charity alongside writing and editing a magazine distributed around the Armed Forces. She is an army wife and lives in Dorset on the English south coast.
