Nathan Platte

A native of Ann Arbor, Nathan Platte attended Detroit Catholic Central High School and studied history, trombone performance, and musicology at the University of Michigan. Since 2011, Nathan has taught music history at the University of Iowa. His writings on Hollywood film music have appeared in many anthologies and journals. Nathan's other pursuits include coaching soccer, reading aloud, running occasionally, and playing bass trombone as best he can.
