Dorene Clay

I was born in Brooklyn NY and raised in Queens NY. I recently moved to Georgia and I am embarking on a new chapter in my life. One of many I hope. I am the mother of a beautiful little girl. I started writing in June of 2016 because a very dear friend of mine believed that I had something special within me that I needed to share with the world. So here I am. I write Multi-Genre Poetry and short stories. Some of what I write is based off of life experiences. I hope you enjoy my work and that it can be inspirational to you.
