Jean Sorrell

Writing is Jean Sorrell's passion and her favorite genre is mystery. She likes to add historical significance to the telling of a tale. And, a dark, lonely setting, plus a believable protagonist is critically important.

Sorrell earned degrees in English and Creative Writing at Oklahoma University, Norman, and University of Louisiana, Lafayette. She's been an associate professor and an art gallery owner, editor of a performing arts magazine, a wife and mother. An author of two novels: "The Returning" and "Shadow of Death", she plans to release the second in the Catherine Lyle series next year.
