Cilla Shiels

I'm a baby-boomer born 1947 and as Thursday’s child, I’ve had far to go. I've travelled to Vancouver; Australia and the Philippines many times to visit family and holidayed in numerous other countries in-between. I'm from a working class family where going to University would have seemed a step too far. I’ve always enjoyed learning and motivating others throughout my working life both in Business and later in Education. I’m semi-retired as a part-time tutor and run a writing group in a voluntary capacity. I play golf, jog and love country walks with my Partner.

I've written three autobiographies: One on my first marriage, one on my working life and one about my experience of losing my dear second husband.
