Mark Rait

Mark's debut novel, 'Up Above the Woodpile' is a compelling story of friendship, courage and rebellion during South African apartheid. It gives a voice to the marginalised; to black Africans, to lost childhoods, to those who suffer from the abuses of power, and to those whose lives are smothered by hatred.

Mark is also the author of 'The Path to Happy.' He lives in Scotland with his wife and two children.
