Jeff Minick has owned and operated a bed-and-breakfast in Waynesville, NC, as well as bookshops in Waynesville and nearby Asheville. For fifteen years he taught seminars in history, literature, composition, and Latin to homeschooling students in both towns. He is the author of two novels, Amanda Bell and Dust On Their Wings, both set in Asheville; a collection of essays, Learning As I Go; and a book on using movies for mentoring young men, Movies Make The Man: The Hollywood Guide to Life, Love, and Faith for Young Men.
