His next book was titled "Climbing Prayer Mountain", a forty-day devotional designed to encourage readers in their prayer life and help them grow in fellowship with their Heavenly Father through prayer. He has served in ministry for over twenty-five years.

During the early part of his ministry career, Tim visited prisoners throughout the state of California and shared the love of the Father with them. During that time, he also planted a church in Southern California that ministered to those released from prison. In subsequent years, Tim pastored three others churches in California and Michigan. During that time God led Tim to Lesotho, Africa, where he has been involved for several years in a ministry to orphans.

Tim enjoys cycling, hiking in the Rocky Mountains and spending time with family. He and his wife Patty have three children and currently live in Fish Hoek, Cape Town South Africa directing Oceans Retreat Center.
