Jenlyn Thawsley grew up in Northern Kentucky. She is happily married, and continues to live there with her husband and family. She enjoys writing love stories and fictional family melodrama featuring mutually supportive relationships like the one she has in her own life. Her stories showcase 'ordinary,' imperfect people living through realistic situations, usually foregoing the rarefied theatrics that don't touch most people's lives.
She has published many novels and novellas over the past three years, including The Building Series of love stories, containing three novels: Building: A Love Story, Community, and Growth, The Transition Piece and its sequel, Hard Science and Modern Art, Opening Doors and its sequel, Good Bones, The Same Story, Storm Chasing, Admission, Waiting, Lit, and the Unscripted series, containing two novels: Unscripted and Unedited. She is currently working on new love stories, both continuing the stories of characters readers have already embraced, and introducing new characters to grow to know and (hopefully) love.
