Michael R. Wagenman

Michael R. Wagenman is Director of PhD Studies and Senior Research Fellow at the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology, a research centre which is part of the Theological Federation at Cambridge University (UK). He supervises PhD students in the areas of theology, society/culture, and interpretation. He writes for the Faith and Scholarship blog at the Thinking Faith Network and teaches at universities in Canada. He is a member of the Scripture and the University Seminar program unit and the founding chair of the Scripture and Church Seminar program unit in the Institute for Biblical Research. He earned his PhD at the University of Bristol (UK) on the theology and philosophy of power within 19th and 20th century Reformed and Roman Catholic ecclesiology.
