My name is Sonya-Gaye Johns and I am a native of Jamaica.Words have always been my greatest love and I am most content with a good book in my hand. Family members tell me that I basically taught myself to read and write. So in love with words am I, that I sometimes read the dictionary to just to learn new worlds.

When it comes to the written word I have been writing since the age of six. I have always been an emotional person and poetry as for a long time been my favourite way of expressing these emotions.
