Judith Sessler

Judith Sessler’s love of writing began as a child. She wrote poetry on napkins and short stories in her school notebooks. Her first published works were essays and magazine articles when she was in her early twenties. She took a writing hiatus for five years when her family moved across country and she began a career as a restaurant manager. When they moved back East, she discovered that her husband, inadvertently, discarded the box which contained everything she had ever written. Judith was so devastated that she was unable to write another thing for twenty-five years. Then one night, she woke up with a title stuck in her head. That was how it had always happened, waking in the middle of night with a title and the next morning the story would just flowed from there. The rest is history. Judith’s books run the gamut from romantic fiction, to a juvenile time-travel series, to short story collections. Every morning there is a mug of dark roast waiting for her when she arrives at her “office”…Starbucks, and to her ‘family’ of baristas extraordinaire.
