Sandra Mendelson

Sandra Mendelson is a channel of consciousness via the animal world, an animal communicator, author, blogger and speaker. She bridges the gap between humans and non-humans, creating greater understanding by telepathically communicating with animals in form and in spirit. For her readers worldwide, she brings forth and shares wisdom and insights from the animal kingdom for the benefit of humans. For her personal clients, she transmits soul messages from the animals they love, assisting in the resolution of current life issues and helping to bring closure and greater peace of mind for those whose pets have transitioned.

Sandra previously worked in human and animal nutrition and healing as a Certified Polychromatic Light Therapist, Equine Photopuncture Therapist and Health Coach. One frigid winter day in 2012, while she was applying therapy to the leg of a horse named Emilion, she heard a message from her equine client boom loudly in her head. What she heard dismantled every belief she held regarding human versus non-human capabilities, perception and spiritual awareness and set in motion her awakening to animal consciousness.

For nearly three years, she clung to her skepticism, accumulating “real world proof”— solving problems for humans by communicating with their pets—before she could believe the information she was receiving from the horses. The wisdom and insights they conveyed were what we've come to expect from the mouths of spiritual thought leaders such as the Dalai Lama, Eckhart Tolle or Deepak Chopra and, posthumously, Wayne Dyer.

With horses as guides pushing her to "ask permission and tap into anyone from anywhere", she connected with approximately 70 animals of the land, sea and air — both in body and in spirit. They stepped forward to reveal numerous secrets of their existence as well as guidance to help us survive and thrive as humans. She captured this experience in her first book, We Walk Beside You: Animal Messages for an Awakening World (2017), which took home a Winnie Award for Best Equine Spiritual Literary Work at the Equus Film Festival 2018.

Motivated by her dog, Mr. T, Sandra then began receiving animal messages for children, to help them realize their intuitive abilities to connect with all life. This gave rise to The Secrets of The Animals Trilogy. The adventure, guided by Mr. T and set to rhyme, takes children on journeys through their neighborhood, down at a farm, and through the jungles, deserts, forests, plains and oceans of the world to discover the secret "animal wisdom ways" that are the keys to communicating with animals.

Sandra has appeared as a guest on WFLX TV-29 News and WPEC TV-12 West Palm Beach and over 400 podcasts and radio shows including Coast2Coast AM with George Noory, a top 10 most listened to radio program in the U.S. She was also featured in the documentary film Herd, winner Best Director, Feature Documentary 2016 Equus Film Festival.
