Simon Fairfax writes in three different genres: International financial thrillers, Classic Westerns and medieval fiction.

He is a former Chartered Surveyor, Editor of an online polo magazine (having played polo for a number of years) and has practiced martial arts, fencing and shooting. He now restores old classic sports cars for fun.

As a lover of crime thrillers and espionage, Simon turned what is seen by others as a dull 9 – 5 job into something that is exciting, and as close to real life as possible, with Rupert Brett, his unwilling hero.

His medieval series now has 7 books released in the series. A new Prequel, A Knight and a Spy 1403, is set in a tumultuous time at the English court. It tells the story of Jamie as a young squire, culminating at the brutal and bloody that will change hsi life and those of England forever.

The new Plainsman Series features Nate Carlton, a young solider returning home from the Civil War to face desolation and a new beginning that must be forged with a gun in a wild and lawless West, with book 5, Railroad Raiders now released and more books to follow in the series.

The 2nd book in a new Condottieri series set in medieval Italy, The Fight for Florence is now published.
