Kristen Jongen

Kristen Jongen is an internationally collected mixed media painter and author. The voice behind Soul Soup, Inc. (her company that features inspirational paintings, prints, and greeting cards), Jongen has authored two books, Growing Wings: A view from inside the cocoon, and Attempting Flight: Upside down without a net.

Additionally, her work has been used as course material in a wide range of venues from collegiate poetry courses to support groups across the nation.

Kristen's work has been featured in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Huffpost and many other North American publications. She is a passionate activist and speaker who encourages audiences to use creativity to actualize inner strength. The mother of three children, she now resides in New York City, with her poodle Beezus.
