Working with large and smaller firms, practice groups, clients, in-house law department professionals and lawyers, as well as non-traditional legal service providers, I draw on my 20+ years of practicing law and as a consultant seeking to increase the effectiveness of the legal industry and drive outstanding economic results.
The results of my work are measurable as I seek to improve law firm profitability, manage legal spend to achieve corporate goals, and enhance client service delivery. Areas of expertise include legal project management, managing change, process improvement, data analytics, knowledge management, and sourcing. I have helped lawyers apply these disciplines to substantive law practice areas such as: commercial, toxic tort and IP litigation; mergers and acquisitions; corporate governance; industry regulation; trusts and estates; real estate leasing and sales; and environmental and energy law; as well work that spans specialties such as due diligence, e-discovery, contracting, and compliance operations.
I started my career in BigLaw (a major law firm and a law corporate legal department) followed by a stint as a Partner in the legal consulting practice. My entrepreneurial inclinations led me to start my own firm, followed by affiliation with a global virtual consulting firm.
