Tom Brous

Tom Brous has been a life-long resident of Kansas City, Missouri, except for absences for college (Northwestern University) and law school (University of Michigan). After passing the Missouri Bar exam, he served four years as a captain in the Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. Following military service he practiced law with several law firms in Kansas City until his retirement in 2016. For over ten years he taught tax courses as an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas School of Law. Tom is married to Mary Lou Brous, and they share four children and eleven grandchildren.
