Lisa Dublin

Lisa Dublin was born in Saint Lucia and moved to Canada with her husband and three sons in 2013. She is a writer, speaker, performance poet and life coach. She writes from a deep place of honesty and understanding of human nature. Her stories are often culled from her varied experiences as a wife, mom, lecturer, CEO of her own personal development company, television and radio presenter, producer and now immigrant.

The recipient of a Silver M&C Fine Arts Award for Short Fiction in 2003, she has also earned acclaim as a powerful performance poet, having won two national competitions in Saint Lucia in the early 2000s.

Lisa was first published in the anthology "Roseau Valley and Other Poems for Brother George". In 2013, she published her first chapbook, "Sani Baat—a Voice Throwing". In 2017, she published a novella, How George Jones Saved Christmas (available on Amazon), and in November, 2023, she published a second novella, Good Girl Gone Wife.
