James Maxstadt

James Maxstadt lives in Burlington, NC, with his lovely wife Barbara, and their dog Manny. They own an old home, built in 1937, which they are slowly renovating room by room. James is doing all of the work, thanks to his father William, a home builder in upstate NY, who taught him the necessary skills. In addition to home renovation, James loves to read and write, with a particular fondness for fantasy and science-fiction, and counts Terry Pratchett, Glenn Cook, and of course, JRR Tolkien as major influences.
