Marlon Johnson

Marlon Johnson grew up on the energetic and wonderful island of Jamaica. His first novel, The Great Rewind, is a time travel trip to pre-colonial Jamaica, kicked off by the experiments of an overzealous 'medicine' man. Yeshu: A Father's Reward, is a fictional take on Jesus' coming-of-age, set as a father and son road trip story. Champs: Volume 1 is a graphic novel about one teen's experience with unexpected success at Jamaica's national track and field championships. Beautiful Days, tells of young brothers on conflicting paths to adulthood. His latest novel, Jansah Academy, is a hilarious and mellow account of his first year at boarding school in Jamaica.
