Michel Stermann

Born in 1951 near Paris, France, Michel Stermann is the son of a Holocaust survivor and of a German Antinazi, his "Maman Grčte". After studying Law in college, he has been a translator, then an import salesman, before starting a successful career as an information technology specialist until his retirement. His uncommon and tormented family history has led him to write its story in French. Since he has been bilingual from his earliest childhood on, he authored a German adaption, before preparing himself an edition in English that was extensively copyedited by a proficient American.

He also produced a monography in German about the beginnings of the actor and singer Ernst Busch (1900-1980), his maternal grandmother's first love.

For his both works, he found a rich information material in his inherited family archive, written as well as in photography, and on an extended genealogical research.

Michel Stermann can be followed on his Facebook page and on the Facebook pages dedicated to his book in each of its three languages.
