Hi,

I was born in Stoke-on-Trent and worked mainly in Manchester for the last twenty five years.I have been married for the last ten years to my wife Angie although we have been together twenty.

At the age of eleven I decided I wanted to be a writer, I wrote a few books which I imagined would make me a living at such an age.I then borrowed a couple of books from the library on how to write and sell books and realised that the couple of books I wrote would only be classed as first chapters.So it was a case of back to the drawing board.Over the years in between my "real job" I continued to dabble mainly for my own pleasure nothing serious.At the end of last year I took early retirement and after following my other passion of photography I decided to get back to writing, and produced The Beach, I still haven't managed the heart of writing a fifty thousand word book, but I hope you enjoy the collection of shorter stories.
