Marc Frederic has written creatively for the vast majority of his life. His right brain has produced writings on various subjects in numerous genres, while his left brain, as a financial advisor with a major brokerage firm, enjoyed successfully guiding clients through the maze of financial markets.

Now retired from the financial industry to pursue and convey his writing ability, Marc shares his talent not simply by writing books, but through his special skill of quoting many of his works from memory.

His alter ego, Mr. Whimsy, was created during a book publishing class in 2004, when other students, knowing that Marc’s publishing company was named World of Whimsy Productions, continuously referred to him as such.

Mr. Whimsy, as he is now known in book circles, writes not simply for youngsters, but for the child within the adult. As he likes to say to grown-ups, “We each have one inside us. We are all built that way. It’s fun to let them guide us. Can yours come out and play?”

When not immersed in the World of Whimsy itself, Marc enjoys and is devoted to a lovely lady who is the co-author of his latest book. Together, they have fun exploring the world and seeing their respective grandchildren discover, learn, and earn the joys of life.
