I am a consultant physician in the department of Medicine at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. I have nurtured a regular reading habit, indulging myself in comics and short stories, since childhood. I also enjoy thrillers, romance, and inspirational books.

I have appeared on Doordarshan health shows, and been quoted in national dailies regarding various heath ailments.

Medical profession always arouses a sense of awe. With my first novel, ‘A Doctor’s Pulse’, I wish to break the ice between the common man and the venerated doctor they meet at their clinics.

I like to travel. I give a dedicated hour to yoga in my day. I follow-up on current affairs eagerly. I thoroughly enjoy Hollywood action movies.

I play mouth-organ (Harmonica) and learning guitar these days.

I have a loving wife and two charming toddler daughters.

My job with the Government of India gives me just enough time for leisure writing.
