I also worked as financial adviser to a retail entity financed by ICICI Venture Capital for investment. This was eventually purchased by "More Super Market"

All the above gave me good exposure to bank finance ( both for project and stressed assets ), financing from NBFCs and also brought me into contact with quite a few PE investors.

Since these were full time positions, during above associations from time to time, I also had closer look at ERPs, CRMs, and Cloud computing and had in depth role in ERP implementation, cost reduction and rationalization , manpower restructuring and providing overall strategic direction .

As already mentioned, my international career was with Arcelor Mittal . I had a five years stint from 2004 to 2009. Initially I was the Controlling head for a very large integrated steel plant at Poland, where SAP was also getting implemented and then I was moved to the treasury office at Luxembourg, which gave me sound exposure in the areas of forex management, international taxation, transfer pricing etc.

In 2016, at a fairly senior age, I turned to academics to share my experience with the younger generation as an MBA teacher, although earlier also I undertook various teaching assignments in part time capacity at different institutions, when I was simultaneously working in senior management position at Nagarjuna Fertilizes & Chemicals Limited ( Hyderabad ) and Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited ( Bhubaneswar). I had taught International Finance at ICFAI, Hyderabad and Management Information System at Xaviers Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar in part time capacity.

I am quick learner, an expert in web site development, an expert in various accounting software, and likes to experiment with various innovative pedagogical methods.

I have authored several short books of topical interest.
