Brian Williamson

Dr. Brian Williamson is an internationally experienced, purpose-oriented management consultant focused on transforming organizational performance to create a new relationship between business, society, the environment, capital, and purpose. As a management consultant with over 25 years of experience helping organizations plan and achieve their strategic goals and objectives, Brian has deep industry experience in academia, chemicals, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, and with non-profit organizations.

As a consultant, Brian helps clients translate strategy into aligned portfolios of projects that strive to consider all stakeholders in relation to purpose. This includes holding an organization as they challenge legacy conventions and coaching them through the challenges associated with transformative change.

Brian’s experience in the areas of organizational development, business transformation, employee experience, human-centered design, and helping organizations align their portfolios of projects to purpose have received international acclaim. He was the recipient of the PMI Eric Jenett Project Management Award of Excellence and also received numerous citations from the Association for Project Management (U.K.), where he holds the honored designation of Fellow.

Brian has a deep passion for learning, having earned two master’s degrees from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering (formally Polytechnic University), one in the Management of Technology and another in Information Systems Engineering. He also earned a doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University in Leadership and Learning in Organizations.

Additionally, Brian is a champion of helping others to maximize their human potential, having mentored senior-level practitioners and executives on creating better human experiences for their organizations. Brian has also served on graduate advisory boards at Post University, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Rutgers University.

Brian is a published author with the Taylor & Francis Group and others, as well as a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society of Consulting Psychology, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
