Bianca Marie Oscar, known by her pen name Bee Maree, is a native of Lafayette, LA, but has resided in New Orleans, LA for the last 8 years. Bee Maree has been writing for years inspiring love, sharing her pain of heartbreak and motivation to come out of a dark space into love and light all by the way of poetry. Bee Maree also specializes in the social work field helping others along the way. In addition to helping others Bee Maree has an overwhelming passion for working with young adolescent girls. Bee Maree curated a mentor program for young girls called Young Black Girl Hood, encouraging self-esteem, promoting sisterhood and inspiring them to navigate forward in life despite challenges in a generation lacking love and support. Bee Maree has self-published four poetry books entitled: Tense: Journey of an Unknown Poet, Unfinished Business: Letters to a Broken Me, Remnants of Love, and her most recent collection of poetry: Pen Versus Action. Bee Maree continues to pour her most intimate experiences through poetry in hopes that someone, somewhere relates, feels heard and knows that they are not alone.
