Pia Pasternack

After 20 years of marriage and three children, full-time mum Pia Pasternack came home one day to find a note on the doormat and her husband gone. Heartbroken, this was the first of a series of revelations that left her and her family reeling. In Making Peace with Divorce, her first book, Pia passes on the lessons she, her friend and bestselling author Sarah Rayner, and others have learned about the legal, financial and emotional aspects of separation, and helps readers to build themselves back up and enjoy their new life after divorce.

Pia was born in London to German/American parents and grew up in the UK and Iran. She has a degree in Philosophy and Modern Languages from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD in France. After over 20 years out of the workforce, sorely lacking in confidence, and with her divorce and home move finally behind her, she signed contracts to begin a new job and to write her first book within the same week, and is now very busy and fulfilled in ways she would never have imagined on the day she found the note on the mat.
