Diane Sleger spent her memorable childhood in Pure Michigan, lived in Chi-town burbs, and currently resides in sunny Arizona. She holds a B.S.W., an A.A.S. in Graphic Design, and a Web Design Certificate. Art is her passion, expressed in her illustrations and digital designs.

Diane is dedicated to sharing veterans’ military memories. She honors their service and heroism, and is devoted to preserve our American history. Memberships; Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of Arizona. Mayflower Log Editor 2021 – 2022. As a Revolutionary War Patriot descendant, with Saguaro Chapter NSDAR, 2022 - current, VIS Webmaster, Editor, and American Indian Committee, Signal Hill Chapter NSDAR, since 2017, Chairman of the Veterans Committee, 2019, PR & Media Chair. and 2018 to 2021, VIS Chairman and Webmaster, and appointed ILDAR, National Standing Committee, Vice-Chair of Website Compliance, 2019 - 2021.

Shadows to Sunshine, Our Roblin Line, 01FEB2024 © Diane Sleger. In this genealogical analysis, of my paternal side ancestry, particularly the United Empire Loyalists lineage. Our focus will be on my fifth great-grandfather, Philip John Roblin who was a Loyalist pioneer, and helped settle the Ontario, Bay of Quinte. Hay Bay area, in Prince Edwards County, Canadian frontier. Additionally, on my paternal grandmother's side, traces back the ancestry to my third great-grandfather, Ivy Randall Roblin, and his wife, my third great-grandmother, Sarah Van Tassel. We descend from my fifth great-grandfather, John Van Tassel, who played a significant role as one of my Revolutionary War Patriots.

Previously researching from my paternal grandmother’s link to DAR Patriots. Now, to discover my paternal grandfather’s link to the Loyalists, as a Scottish Officer in the British Army.Testing 1,2,3, Los Alamos is my father, an Atomic Age veteran, who personally experienced the effects of the atomic Trinity Test radiation during the Manhattan Project.
