I am a counseling student and English teacher that lives in Kansas. Writing is one of those passions that never left me and now I'm trying to see how successful I can be with it.

To me, it's important that any story I create focuses on characters and traits that readers don't typically see. For example, the homeless or those who deal with mental illnesses. I want to make heroes out of those people and shed light on what they might deal with.
