I never thought I would be an author, previously I contributed to a number of papers on International Development, however nothing creative.
After being the victim of a sever Traumatic Brain Injury I did all I could to recover. After seeing a Doctor who took several Brain scans and asked fellow Doctors to predict the outcome of my recovery. The predictions were very grave, however, he said that in reality I was undertaking a Masters to refresh the knowledge I previously had. After this he said to me that I need to write about my recovery to inspire other Brain Injury Survivors.
This was something I took to heart and vigorously pursed by getting my family, friends and professionals to contribute to. As such the memoir of this experience is told by several contributors to give a full round up of life post accident.
It shows that there is no reason to give up on recovery and having the right support is critical!
