Carrie Higgins

Carrie Higgins is the author of the popular lifestyle blog, Making Lemonade, where she shares fresh ideas for home and family. Born naturally disorganized, she learned life-changing organization skills thanks to her job as a teacher and librarian. She preaches that getting organized is a muscle that can grow; you don't have to be born organized to put your home + life in order. It takes learning a set of skills and mindful practice to make that muscle grow, and it's her goal in life to help others find easy ways to save time, effort, and money to make more room in their lives for what they love.

Moving from her hometown of Bedford, Massachusetts to Pennsylvania and then North Carolina, Carrie lives what she preaches. She also runs two profitable businesses and juggles it all with a family (an amazing husband, two special kiddos, and an extremely loud but sweet cat) that keeps her on her toes and gives her plenty of organizational challenges to conquer.
