A Washington, DC native with a dash of 'sweet peach' Georgia influence Rayshoun Chambers has become one of the most fun-loving direct people most folks will encounter in a lifetime. She is a lover of seafood and what most of her friends call 'bird seeds'. But above all of that, she is authentic and that is exactly what comes across in her writing. Whether she is sharing some detailed insight into a life event that triggered a new direction, her faith or best practices in business/executive leadership she is sure it give it to you plain, clear and real.
Her father's first job was at the Rayburn building in Washington, DC and her mother's favorite actor is Sean Connery, so lucky for her... she really had no choice in the matter and was going to be named Rayshoun whether she was born a boy or a girl... that year most of the pink was sold out in the stores and she sported yellow infant gear the majority of the first year she was born. A symbolic representation of a future nickname she would be called Ray-of-Sunshine (or Rayshine).
Rayshoun received her higher education in South Georgia at Albany State University and extended her studies at the Mendoza Business College, University of Notre Dame. She has many certifications and awards that speak volumes to her commitment to both personal and professional growth; however, her most proud accomplishment is being a mom.
