Sisonke Msimang

Sisonke Msimang is the author of Always Another Country: A memoir of exile and home (2017); and The Resurrection of Winnie Mandela (2018). She is a South African writer whose work is focussed culture, power, money and sex. She has written for a range of international publications including the New York Times, the Washington Post, The Guardian, Newsweek and Al Jazeera and is on the editorial board of Africaisacountry. In 2018, Always Another Country was shortlisted for the Alan Paton Prize in South Africa, and received a notable mention in the Victoria Premier's Literary Award.
