About My Work in Numismatics

• Articles and excerpts of my work have appeared in The Numismatist and Numismatic News. My next article will be published in The Numismatist in May 2026.

• My books are dedicated to promoting education in numismatics, providing complete and accurate information about all known error coin types. Each type is described in detail, accompanied by photographs from my personal collection or from Heritage Auctions. Understanding and recognizing all types of mint errors is essential for any serious collector.

• I welcome interaction with collectors and offer my email address located inside the book for questions and discussion. Many collectors send photos of coins for review.

• My books emphasize correct identification of coins, including the eight distinct classes of doubled dies. These variations are important to understand, as some are subtle and easily overlooked.

• All my research is based on authentic findings, providing collectors with reliable information and data.

• Rather than including photos of individual error coins, I focus on documenting error types. A single coin example rarely tells the full story—for instance, the 1972 doubled die Lincoln cent has nine distinct variations, all recognized by PCGS. Showing only one would deprive collectors of understanding the full range. I encourage readers to use Variety Vista as a valuable reference, as it includes thousands of detailed images.

• There are thousands of RPM (Repunched Mintmarks) and OMM (Over Mintmarks) errors to study. For example, the 1969‑S doubled die Lincoln cent alone has five known variations.

• My books also include value guides for thousands of error coins that many collectors may not even realize exist.

Would you like me to format this for a website “About the Author” section or a press release style statement for publication use? I can adapt the tone and layout accordingly.
