Michelle Kirby

Michelle Kirby is an author who writes hope into everyday life. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, she now calls South Carolina home, where she lives with her husband Tony, their family, and their doodle, River.

Michelle is the author of Turn the Light Back On, her autobiography, as well as Loved As You Are: 30 Days of Hope for Women and Loved Behind Bars, a devotional written for women in prison — because she believes no mistake can separate anyone from love, grace, and a fresh start. She is also the author of Dream Big, Girl!, a coloring book helping creative, confident girls ages 6-10 dream big about who they are becoming.

Her heart is simple: to remind women and girls everywhere that they are loved, they are strong, and their best chapters are still ahead.
