Don Newman

Don Newman is a publisher, author coach, pastor, and conference speaker with over thirty years of ministry experience, including church planting, and more than twenty years in Christian publishing. A born storyteller, he brings his insight on life, leadership, and legacy to everything he writes and every stage he speaks from.

For over fifteen years, Don served as Executive Director of Publishing for Salem Author Services, where he helped thousands of writers fulfill their dream of publishing a book. Today he and his wife, Tracee, lead Porchlight Publishing, a Christian publishing and author coaching company devoted to helping authors share their message with excellence, from first draft to finished book.

Don's passion is helping others build their legacy: passing on to future generations the stories and wisdom we gather over a lifetime. He is the author of Don't Just Speak It, Write It!, now in its second edition, a practical guide for pastors, speakers, and leaders ready to turn their message into a book.

Don and Tracee live in Central Florida and have three married children, six granddaughters, and one grandson in their legacy.
