Dana Clark-Jackson

Dana Clark-Jackson is an author, lecturer, conference speaker, educator, and life skills coach. Her mixed-ethnic and racial heritage and unique understanding of how to navigate through diverse cultural issues have opened doors for her to be a featured speaker at racial reconciliation conferences for many years. Her birth in Muncie, Indiana in 1958, nine years prior to the Loving v Virginia's landmark Supreme Court decision allowing interracial marriage and her subsequent personal struggles with racism have provided her with a passion for seeing racial reconciliation take place. Originally a native of Los Angeles, California, she now resides in Houston Texas with her husband. Mrs. Jackson is also the direct descendant of Evangelist Maria Woodworth-Etter. Additionally, she holds Master's in Human Relations and a Bachelor's in African/African American Studies from the University of Oklahoma; and a second Bachelor's in Fine Arts Ministry from California Baptist University. Her many accomplishments include TV & Radio host, Recording Artist and Song writer. As a minister and educator, Mrs. Jackson has served alongside her husband in ministry for over 20 years, worked in education k-12, Jr. College and at the university level as a tutor for athletes. As a Life Skills Coach, she has worked with adult outpatients, re-entry population and with youth & families. Her autobiography “RECONCILED, Black by Experience: My Struggle for Legitimacy” is a testament to her perseverance in the face of adversity, her love and compassion for others, and is the motivating factor behind her productivity. Currently, she is working on and Co-Directing a film documentary with Emmy Award Winner, Bunee Tomlinson, director of “Boom-town: An American Journey,” a film about the tumultuous History of Tulsa, OK.
