In a nutshell (literally), Terri Bene' was born on a military base and moved 13 times in her first 13 years. As balance, for the past 32 years she has lived in the place she has loved most: on several acres in the Rocky Mountain foothills in a log cabin she and her family built themselves (with the help of many friends), surrounded by animals. She is the mother of seven and grandmother of six incredible people. After 40 years of college, where she explored numerous educational directions (philosophy, computer science; accounting, writing, art, engineering graphics, math), she temporarily settled down at the age of 62 and graduated with a degree in Psychology. The preferred world for Terri is one that combines philosophy, writing, children, animals, and traveling. The "Haley's World" children's book series was created through her loving, roller-coaster friendship with Rosemary Vogt...and it's been a wonderful ride!
