The call for Revival: Christopher Neff was not raised in church; yet, after 25 years in the flesh – Christ set him free. Chris had been through addiction, immorality, divorce, depression, and attempted suicide. The Lord impressed upon his heart, ‘If your life isn’t worth anything to you, give it to Me’. Chris surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and was Born-Again. He spent three years studying through the Bible and examining the Christian faith. He was loosened from the old, and fettered to the Savior and Lord. Chris was baptized and became a member of a local church. He remarried, and the Lord blessed them with more children. He struggled with what the Church looked like in the New Testament and what it appeared to be in today’s world. When he was called to salvation, he was also called to the pastorate. He surrendered to both as a package deal – after battling, and arguing, with the call to ministry. So, in addition to being a husband and father, he is also a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel. Disheartened by the ‘status quo’ and business mentality that seemed to be permeating the churches, as well as what is perceived to be a facilitation of keeping people comfortable in their position/condition – Transformation is necessary. Pastor Chris (also known as Brother Chris) has returned to the simplicity and non-corruption of that N.T. Church model. He challenges higher biblical criticism, tradition, mysticism, humanism, and liberalism – as well as the authority of denominations. He propagates Biblical literalism and lives His faith all the time, both in and out of the House Church. He has served as Pastor, preaching and teaching the Scriptures for life-application to assemblies in local churches, homes, nursing facilities, rescue missions, and jails. The Ministry of Reconciliation – for Christ and His Church – all praise and glory to our Triune God.
