Hi There! Just finished my latest:- 'Shadows', a story as Irish as shamrocks, leprechauns, Guiness & peat bogs but with the deep roots of England in its soul. They go together, as close as Toby's hand in his father's, the two Irish wolfhound's beside them in the grounds of Ballygairn & all its ghostly secrets. Be immersed in its depths, its mellowness and the turmoil which is Ireland. Can't forget my ' Beneath a crescent moon', a story flowing between the present & the past, of Christian and Saracen, of a composer torn between his music and his connection to his Christian & Arab past. 'A Family Affair', about an explorer in the far-flung deserts of the world and a devilish statuette, who causes mayhem. I have also just finished writing a new revised and virtually rewritten version of' Sailor, sailor,' my semi-biographical novel set in ww2, which is out later this year. This one means such a lot to me, as it is the story of my Mother's and Father's life's, and is much better written than the original. ''Another life, another love', a modern contemporary story about a much harassed young woman called Suzanne, and her life, loves, who struggles to deal with all life throws at her. It is very much a woman's book, written for women. 'A shard of glass'. tells the story, in historical flashbacks, of Zac Guthrie, a young man plagued by the effect both water, and glass has on him. Each interwoven, yet separate story tells another one of his life's in a heart-rending fashion. Different again, from my ' Guy de Tournet, child of the revolution, son of France', about a French cavalry officer in the 1812 French Russian war. Full of intrigue, deception, amongst the Cossacks, and a touch of love ,for the ladies, but gritty enough for the men! A story that had been with me since I was a teenager. In my early sixties, this story haunted me & had to be told! I have loved writing all my stories! That's why I do it! The pure joy of weaving the stories web, the interplay of the many diverse characters. I also enjoy writing poetry, and these are included in all of my books, to some extent.
