Eric Schaeffer

Eric Schaeffer, as a Senior Managing Director at Accenture, focuses on helping industrial organizations harness the exponential opportunities of connected innovation to digitally transform their businesses for future growth.

Coming from an engineering background, he has always been fascinated by the technical aspects of industrial products and how to accelerate their performance, at every stage of the product life-cycle. Over the last 30 years at Accenture, he has helped industrial clients, across Europe and now globally, envisage and then deliver transformation across the enterprise, by placing product innovation at the center of the change process.

Eric leads Accenture’s Product Industry X.0 practice, bringing together services across innovation, engineering and product development, manufacturing and digital operations, and product services optimization to help industry clients master the digital opportunities and the drivers of change, unleashed by the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). He combines this role with his responsibility as Global Lead for Accenture’s Industrial practice, helping automotive, industrial equipment and Infrastructure companies to digitally reinvent their businesses and create a new level of innovation and efficiency across the extended connected value chain.

As a leader in the “New”, he believes that industrial manufacturers must begin to digitize their operations, products and services now to make the most of the Industrial IoT, analytics, AI and other “Industry X.0” technologies.
