Daniel Thomas MacInnes is an accomplished artist and author of over 30 books on photography, modern art, and modern culture. His visual style takes inspiration from such diverse sources as classic cinema, pop art, abstract expressionism, surrealism, street graffiti, jazz, and rock.

Published art books include War & Peace, Galaxy Four, and Riot Act. Photography books include Superunknown, Exile On Main Street, Endgame, Betamax, Biotracer, and The White Album. Nonfiction books include Zen Arcade, Pop Life, and Greatest Hits.

In addition to these published works, literary contributions include Blu-Ray and DVD movies (Horus, Prince of the Sun, Lupin the 3rd: The Complete First TV Series), scholarly books (Mi Vecino Miyazaki, Antes De Mi Vecino Miyazaki), and magazines (Time Out London, GamePro, NewType Gaming, Electronic Games).
