Sheffield-born designer, illustrator, musician, and writer Alex Storer blends creativity with a lifelong passion for music history, cult TV, and science fiction. He is the author of Input/Output (2024), exploring the work of Peter Gabriel. His love of Doctor Who inspired Evolution of the Toy Dalek (Telos Publishing, 2025), the first archival study of Dalek toys, and Blackpool Remembered (2025), co-authored with John Collier, a vivid year-by-year guide to the original BBC exhibition. In 2026, Alex published INSIDE OUTSIDE: Deconstructing David Bowie’s Gothic Hyper-Cycle, an in-depth look at the making of Bowie’s 1.Outside album. Designing all his own books, Alex brings together research, visual storytelling, nostalgia and fandom to celebrate the art and culture that shaped him.
